Rotation buttons (apply one move to the current board)
Net (click to paint the current color / click the same color again to reset to anonymous)
Face labels are U/D/L/R/F/B (internal canonical form from ch. 01). Black = anonymous (a wildcard that hides the color). With "?" selected in the palette (the default), pressing a cell shows only the legal colors that can be placed there. The normal-view image reflects only the 3 visible faces, but legality uses the input of all 6 faces.
Black = anonymous color (a wildcard that hides the color). Press a cell of the net to paint it directly. With "?" selected at the head of the palette, pressing a cell lists only the legal colors for that cell. Any way of holding the puzzle is fine (a rotated standard scheme is legal too).
Bulk text input (fast entry)
1 character = 1 cell. Uppercase = 6 face colors W white, Y yellow, B blue, G green, R red, O orange / lowercase = explanatory g gray, v purple, p pink, b black (anonymous). Kanji (白黄青緑赤橙灰紫桃黒) are also accepted. Note the difference between uppercase B = blue and lowercase b = black. The face order is U L F R B D.
Generate from rotation notation
Creates the coloring obtained by applying this sequence to the solved state. Notation: vertices U L R B (top, front-left, front-right, back) turn 120° clockwise seen from the vertex, ' is counter-clockwise. Lowercase u l r b turn only the tip, Uw (4- and 5-layer) turns three layers from the tip and 3Uw (5-layer) four. J-style (t e w n, -, &) is accepted too. Separate moves with spaces.
Creates a coloring by applying this sequence to the solved state. Notation: outer-layer moves are uppercase U D L R F B (90° clockwise; ' = 90° counter-clockwise; 2 = 180°). Only for 4x4x4/5x5x5, lowercase u d l r f b turn just the inner (2nd) layer independently of the outer layer (e.g. u'). Separate moves with spaces.
On 5x5x5 you can turn the two-layer block that does not touch the outer layer in a single move, written like 2-3Rw (2-3r means the same move). The same notation turns the three-layer block that does not touch the outer layer, written 2-4Rw.
Legality check
Contains anonymous colors: this result means "an assignment can make it legal (existence check)".

Even without a pack, legality check, scramble, generate-from-notation, and solving are still available.
